1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of digital services and products provided by Parked it AB, company registration number 559481-4286, VAT number SE559481428601, Sweden. Parked it AB currently provides, among others, the following services:
- Parked it – a digital platform for vehicle-related and location-based services, including parking, electric vehicle charging and other supported services.
- TripTrackIt – a GPS-based electronic driving log and vehicle management service.
In these Terms, Parked it and TripTrackIt are collectively referred to as the “Services”. These Terms apply to the Services you use. Certain provisions apply only to a specific Service and are identified accordingly. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or product, or using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf. Certain services accessible through Parked it are provided by independent third-party service providers and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
2. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and up-to-date account information and, where applicable, vehicle information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and authentication credentials and for taking reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access. You must ensure that vehicles registered in your account are vehicles you are authorized to manage or monitor. You are responsible for activities performed through your account, except where responsibility rests with Parked it AB under applicable law. You must notify us if you become aware of unauthorized access to or use of your account.
3. Subscriptions
Certain features of the Services require an active paid subscription. Subscription prices, billing intervals, applicable taxes and other relevant conditions are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions may be billed monthly, annually or according to another billing interval presented at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated during purchase, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription through the account management functionality available on our website. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or stated in the applicable purchase terms, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Changes to subscription pricing will be communicated in advance where required by applicable law. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically terminate an active parking session, charging session or other separate service transaction.
4. Payments
Prices, fees and applicable taxes are presented before purchase or, for automatic services, through the applicable pricing information and settings accepted by the user. By purchasing or activating a paid Service, you authorize the applicable charges to your registered payment method. Payment processing may be provided by external payment service providers, including Stripe. Individual services offered through Parked it may be priced by the participating service provider. Parked it AB may charge additional transaction, service or subscription fees where applicable.
5. Hardware and GPS Devices
Certain Services may require or support compatible GPS tracking devices or other hardware. Hardware may be purchased separately from subscriptions unless otherwise stated. Hardware prices, shipping charges, delivery information and applicable taxes are presented during checkout. Devices must be installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary authority to install and use a tracking device in a vehicle. Hardware warranties, statutory consumer rights and applicable return conditions are governed by the applicable purchase terms and mandatory law. Parked it AB cannot guarantee uninterrupted GPS reception, mobile network connectivity or communication with third-party systems.
6. Parked it
6.1 Description of the Service
Parked it provides a digital platform through which users can access and manage vehicle-related and location-based services. Depending on availability, these may include parking, electric vehicle charging and other supported services. Service availability, functionality and pricing may vary depending on location, participating service providers, vehicle compatibility and the user's selected service configuration.
6.2 Third-Party Services
Certain services accessible through Parked it are provided by participating third-party providers. Availability, pricing and specific conditions may be determined by the relevant provider. Additional terms may apply to parking facilities, charging stations and other services. You are responsible for complying with applicable parking regulations, traffic laws, posted restrictions and the conditions of the relevant service provider. The identity of the relevant service provider and applicable transaction conditions will be presented where required by law.
6.3 Automatic Services
Certain Parked it features may use GPS or other vehicle location information to initiate or terminate supported services automatically. By activating automatic functionality, you authorize Parked it to initiate and manage eligible service transactions according to your selected settings and the applicable service conditions. Automatic transactions may result in charges to your registered payment method. You remain responsible for ensuring that the correct vehicle is registered and that automatic functionality is configured appropriately. GPS inaccuracies, connectivity issues, service provider restrictions and other technical circumstances may prevent automatic transactions from being completed correctly. You must not assume that a parking session or other service has started or ended until the applicable confirmation has been received. If an automatic transaction fails, you remain responsible for arranging any required service through an available alternative method.
7. TripTrackIt
7.1 Description of the Service
TripTrackIt provides GPS-based electronic driving logs and related vehicle management functionality. The Service may include automatic journey recording, trip classification, reporting, vehicle management and integration with compatible GPS tracking devices. Certain features require an active subscription, compatible hardware and an operational internet or mobile network connection. TripTrackIt is intended to assist users in maintaining driving records. It does not guarantee that generated records will satisfy every tax, accounting, employment or regulatory requirement applicable to a particular user.
7.2 GPS Tracking
You are responsible for ensuring that GPS tracking devices and TripTrackIt are used lawfully. You must have the necessary authority to install a tracking device in a vehicle and to collect information about its movements. If a vehicle is used by employees, family members or other individuals, you are responsible for providing any information required by law and ensuring that the tracking is used in accordance with applicable privacy, employment and other legislation. TripTrackIt must not be used for unlawful surveillance or tracking of individuals without an appropriate legal basis.
7.3 Accuracy of Driving Logs
TripTrackIt uses GPS information and automated processing to generate driving records. GPS reception, device connectivity, vehicle operation and other technical factors may affect the completeness or accuracy of recorded journeys. You are responsible for reviewing driving logs and correcting inaccurate or incomplete information before using them for tax declarations, reimbursement claims, accounting or other official purposes. Automated trip classifications are suggestions and should be reviewed by the user.
8. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights when purchasing subscriptions, digital services or physical products remotely. The applicable withdrawal period, exceptions and procedure for exercising these rights will be communicated during the purchase process in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. Where a consumer requests that a service begins during a statutory withdrawal period, any applicable payment obligations or exceptions will be handled in accordance with mandatory consumer law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory withdrawal or other mandatory consumer rights.
9. Availability and Maintenance
We aim to provide reliable Services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical failures, network problems, third-party service interruptions or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may update the Services to improve functionality, security and compatibility. Changes affecting your contractual rights will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes, tracking or surveillance.
- Register, manage or monitor vehicles you are not authorized to manage or monitor.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or another user's information.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
- Use the Services in violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent unlawful activity, protect users or the Services, or address a material breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
11. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Parked it AB Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes how personal data is processed in connection with Parked it, TripTrackIt and other Services provided by Parked it AB. Where a business or other organization uses a Service to process personal data relating to employees, drivers or other individuals, additional data protection arrangements, including a Data Processing Agreement where applicable, may apply. Questions concerning privacy or the processing of personal data may be directed to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@parked.it.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Parked it AB is not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including failures of external GPS systems, telecommunications networks or third-party services. The allocation of responsibility for services provided by third parties depends on the applicable contractual arrangements and mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
13. Account Termination and Deletion
You may request deletion of your account through the account management functionality available on our website. Deleting an account may result in the permanent loss of associated information, including driving logs and other Service data. Account deletion does not automatically terminate active third-party service transactions or remove payment obligations already incurred. Certain information may need to be retained after account closure in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where necessary to reflect changes to the Services, applicable laws or our business operations. The current version will be made available through our websites or Services. Where required by applicable law, we will provide advance notice of material changes affecting your contractual rights.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer residing in another country, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws applicable to you. Disputes should initially be addressed to Parked it AB at support@parked.it. Consumers may also have access to competent consumer dispute resolution bodies and courts under applicable law.
